The Girl's Guide to Starting Your Own Business
by Samantha
(Apex, NC)
I highly recommend The Girl's Guide to Starting Your Own Business By Caitlin Friedman & Kimberly Yorio.
Caitlin and Kimberly started their own PR Firm back in 2000 after being publicists for a New York Book Company.
The book tells their tale, and warns readers of the negatives that could come from starting your own business.
Like having to manage your staff,
Being forced to rely on a customer and client base, and
Being responsible for your taxes, etc.
They also tell the positives about being in charge, in control, and being your own boss.
The book covers every aspect one would need to know in an easy to read format that can be applied to any industry.
So it doesn't matter what business you want to start Caitlin and Kimberly's guide can help you.
They take you through assessing your finances and writing your business plan to employing a staff and marketing and advertising.
This book was great, I'd recommend it to any woman starting her own business!
