Stepping Into the Unknown, Seriously!

The startup process can be very frustrating at times, especially when you just don't know which comes first, second, or third. So, when you are searching for tips for starting a business, know where you need to go to give your business a successful boost. Learn from my story...
I am in process of opening my own business (with a partner).
I just recently filed the paperwork with the city and there are just a few more logistical things to figure out...
As far as the most frustrating part?
Definitely the parts when I know are there but don't understand in the slightest.
- Taxes?
- How do we figure out what to charge as far as tax to the client and to our own payroll and how do we report it to the city/IRS?????
- Do we hire an accountant?
- There are only two "workers" and they are the owners who aren't really on the payroll (us) so that throws a whole new ball into the game...
We finally figured out how to even register the business with the city which was a confusing mess within itself.
Not knowing what exactly you need to do, that's the most frustrating thing.
